About Us

We've been in business since 1997 - and all we do is design, produce, distribute, stock and manage the supply of clothing people work in!  Sounds simple - it's not rocket science but at times it gets wonderfully complicated - after all we're all different shapes and sizes, we don't all like the same colour and we do different jobs.  And our job is to make sure the workwear and corporate wear we supply is right for you, your company and your budget.  So here's a bit about us: 

The Work Clothing Group (www.theworkclothinggroup.com) is a successful and growing family run business that specialises in the design, supply and distribution of a wide range of work clothing products for a similarly wide range of business customers. Based in Newbury, Berkshire the company was founded by present owner and Managing Director Tim Sandford in 1997.

Our contract customers include - Vodafone, Interserve, The West Brom Building Society, Williams BMW, The Royal Albert Hall, Parkdean Holidays, The Vale of Glamorgan Hotel 

In 2008 we started our internet business run by Sandford the younger and these focus on the supply of specialist protective workwear and high quality branded workwear that we distribute for manufactures such as Fristads, Carhartt, Sioen, Pioner and Haix.  Take a look at the sites:

The good news continues as we have now gained our ISO:14001 accreditation which underlines our commitment to hit the right note on environmental issues and we are almost there on ISO:9001 – so watch this space
